Welcome to our non-profit community, where we are dedicated to supporting widows and widowers as they navigate the devastating emotional, financial and practical challenges that arise after the death of a spouse.
Our Services
We provide numerous forms of assistance in the home whether it’s through our volunteers or providing professional services to meet real needs for our widowed. We understand first-hand that managing cleanup, a leaking roof, broken toilet or oven, or any number of practical challenges can be overwhelming to the grieving. We provide real help so they can focus on healing and their family.
We believe counseling for widows provides a safe space to navigate the complex and overwhelming grief process, as well as find ways to adjust to a life that looks completely different than the one you had with your partner. Whether it’s peer-to-peer, group sessions or financing a licensed counselor in the right area, we believe this an important tool to offer our widows in trauma.
Significant financial challenges can face the widowed. This time is very overwhelming, and we try to help offer financial guidance, connect and partner with other helpful organizations, and even offer relief when we can. Mortgage or rent assistance for even a short time can make a huge difference for those forced to make life-altering financial decisions for their future while they are struck with grief and shock.
